Is avon's Skin so Soft safe to use on 6 month olds as bug repellent?

the bath oil has no warnings on it about using it on children under the age of 6 months old...I am a representative and just checked a bottle in my stock to verify.

Skin so soft bug guard plus does have a warning. It does not contain deet, but it does contain other chemicals. the active ingrediant is called IR3535. The label says for an adult to apply to children under 10 years old and to consult a doctor for children under 6 months old.

I personally would use it on my kids...may have on my 2.5 year old when he was a baby. I would just try to not get it on the baby's hand or any other body part that they are prone to chewing on, that way they don't get any in thier mouth.
